I bought "Remove Ads" but still see ads on my other device.

Open the in-app Settings (gear icon in the top corner) and tap Restore Purchases. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID (or Google account on Android) and will restore on any device signed in with the same account.

Why does the in-app purchase sheet say "Sandbox" or "Environment: Sandbox"?

If you see this, you're signed into a sandbox tester account in your device settings. Production purchases will not show this label. To remove the sandbox tester: iOS Settings → App Store → Sandbox Account → Sign Out.

The game crashes on start or doesn't load.

Try these in order: (1) Force-quit the App and reopen. (2) Restart your device. (3) Check that you're on iOS 15.0 or later. (4) Delete and reinstall the App — your high score and leaderboard entry are tied to a Player ID stored in iCloud / Google account, so they survive reinstalls if you sign in with the same account.

My leaderboard name shows as something I didn't choose.

If you didn't enter a display name, the App assigns a random handle like "Noname A1B". You can change it anytime: open Settings, tap the NAME field, type your preferred name (max 12 characters).

How do I disable ads without paying?

Ads are how the free version of the game is supported. You can turn off personalised advertising:

iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Cannonaze (toggle off)
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → toggle off "Ad personalisation"
EEA/UK/CH users: open the App, go to Settings → Privacy Options, and update your consent

You will still see non-personalised ads. To remove ads entirely, purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase from Settings or the game-over screen.

How do I stop "Beaten Alerts" push notifications?

Open the App, go to Settings, and toggle BEATEN ALERTS off. The change syncs to our server immediately, and we'll stop sending alerts to your device.

How do I stop the daily reminder notifications?

Open the App, go to Settings, and toggle REMINDERS off. The 24-hour re-engagement reminder is local to your device and gets cancelled immediately when you opt out.

I want my data deleted.

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request — Cannonaze" and include the display name you used on the leaderboard. We will remove your leaderboard entry within 48 hours. Local data is removed automatically when you delete the App from your device. Full details: delete-data.html.

Known limitations

The game requires an internet connection to submit scores to the leaderboard. You can still play offline; scores will be submitted when connectivity returns.
Cannonaze requires iOS 15.0 or later, or Android 7.0 (API 24) or later.
"Beaten Alerts" require notification permission and an active internet connection.
